What Nobody Tells You About Living It Out
Hey friend, can we get real for a minute? 💭
I started Narrow Way Cre8tions because I noticed something that broke my heart: so many young people who love Jesus were struggling to share their faith in everyday life. Not because they didn't want to, but because it felt... scary.
And honestly? I get it. I've been there too.
The Things Nobody Talks About
Here's what they don't tell you in youth group about living out your faith:
It's awkward sometimes. That moment when your coworkers are gossiping and you're trying to figure out how to redirect without sounding preachy? Yeah, that's real life, faith right there.
You'll second-guess yourself constantly. "Was that too much?" "Did I come across as judgmental?" "Should I have said something different?" The internal dialogue is REAL.
People are watching. Not in a creepy way, but they notice when you live differently. They see your kindness, your integrity, your joy - even when you think nobody's paying attention.
You don't have to be perfect. Plot twist: your mess-ups and struggles can actually be more powerful testimonies than your victories. People connect with authenticity, not perfection.
The Courage to Be Seen
Here's what I've learned: faith isn't about having all the answers or never struggling. It's about being brave enough to let people see that Jesus makes a difference in your life - even when that life isn't Instagram-perfect.
Sometimes it's as simple as:
- Carrying a bag that sparks a conversation about hope
- Wearing a shirt that reminds someone they're loved
- Being the person who chooses kindness when everyone else chooses chaos
- Praying for your friend instead of just saying "I'll pray for you" and forgetting
You're Braver Than You Think
If you're reading this and thinking, "I wish I were better at sharing my faith," I want you to know something: the fact that you care means you're already doing it right.
Your heart for others, your desire to make a difference, your willingness to step outside your comfort zone - that's the Holy Spirit working in you. You don't need to be louder, bolder, or more "on fire" than you are. You just need to be you, walking with Jesus, one day at a time.
Scriptures That Help
2 Timothy 1:8 tells believers not to be embarrassed about Gospel-related struggles—wear them like a badge of honor!
1 Peter 3:15 wants you ready to explain your hope, so keep that spiritual elevator pitch handy.
Matthew 9:37-38 basically says, "The harvest is huge, but the workers are few," so pray for some reinforcements!
Romans 1:16 boldly declares the Gospel as God's ultimate power move for salvation.
Stay focused on the end game, and remember, one little Holy Spirit-inspired nudge could change a life or align someone with their destiny. Don’t let the enemy rent space in your head—we have VIP authority over him through Jesus Christ! And hey, what better way to irritate him than by helping save souls for our King? Talk about the ultimate "burn"!
Let's Do This Together
This blog is going to be our safe space to talk about the real stuff. The messy, beautiful, sometimes awkward journey of living out faith in a world that doesn't always understand it.
We'll share stories, practical tips, encouragement for the hard days, and celebrate the victories - big and small. Because faith isn't meant to be lived in isolation. We're better together.
So tell me: what's one area where you wish sharing your faith felt easier? Drop a comment below - your honesty might be exactly what someone else needs to hear today.
Ready to walk this narrow way together? Let's go. 💕
With love and faith,
